And if ain't broke then don't try to fix it

And think of the summers of the past

Adjust the bass and let the Alpine blast

Pop in my CD and let me run a rhyme

And put your car on cruise and lay back 'cause this is summertime.

Unsure how hip it is to quote lyrics form DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince given Will Smith's recent freestyles, but let's be clear: many companies in our space have Export Compliance programs that are indeed broke and shouldn't be on cruise control under suppressive leadership of the Idi Amin of Trade Compliance. It's time for a coup d'état and a junta.

In the 21st issue of Squawk 9A610 - your aunt's favorite Export Compliance newsletter - we discuss abusive End User Statements, dive into exporting L-100 spares, and then challenge ChatGPT to a classification contest.

Sending you lovely Friday Export vibes.

Have a great weekend.
